Lee Technologies performed commissioning services for Sprint in Reston, Virginia on projects that totaled over $30 million in construction costs. Lee Technologies Service Teams’ scope spanned multiple sites and equipment and the team commissioned both mechanical and electrical units.
Lee Technologies’ responsibilities included all project management, coordination, documentation development and review, pre-functional and functional testing, breaker study, breaker injection testing and Integrated System Testing. Lee Technologies also performed monitoring of the Building Management System during performance. All work was performed in continuous progression and Lee Technologies was responsible for supplying power and specialty rigging.
In addition, Sprint required a complex Circuit Breaker Coordination Study to be performed prior to commissioning because of the combination of both existing and new electrical components which needed to be added. Lee Technologies’ Service Team verified breaker type and measured wire specifications for existing work during the Coordination Study.
