Lee Technologies was responsible for Arlington County’s infrastructure project, which consisted of the replacement and upgrade of the existing HVAC system, UPS replacement and upgrade, and generator replacement and upgrade within the Arlington County 6th Floor Operations Center, an active data center located in a high rise building in metro Arlington, Virginia.
Lee Technologies’ services included the design, construction and commissioning of the complete mechanical and electrical system upgrade. The mechanical system was replaced to provide a 33% increase in cooling capacity performance. The upgraded electrical system was designed for a 40% increase in capacity with an N+1 configuration with one UPS module being redundant. In addition, a 300 kilowatt generator was upgraded to a new 500 kilowatt generator.
